Louisville Faux- Cabinet and Mirror.

Nine years have gone by since I first worked for this wonderful client. Much has changed since then, but new pieces were needed. Some items just desired a little shift in color change. These photos are a few examples.

The buffet table was already custom painted in the gorgeous grey wash but lacked deep focal points. Deep glaze brought out more dimension. Metallics were added to the trim and door knobs for balance and to work cohesively with the crackled, hand-painted mirror above.

Sneak peak of the Ovation VIP Lounge at the Louisville Palace. Much more to come. The rustic, concrete-like finish is both hand painted and applied texture, and will make a great backdrop for the art pieces that will follow.

The photos posted below are pics that were viewed/tagged/pinned the most on sites such as my blog, Houzz.com, and Pinterest. My favorite is the chicken wire cabinet that I did five years ago for my own kitchen. It was inspired by a project I was working on at the time. As I look through these photos I am reminded that one of the great perks of my job is variation. I have worked with some of the areas finest designers, builders, and clients, and they are on top of the latest trends. I have posted about this historic French iron façade building before, and now it is complete. The building is located on one of the most exciting blocks in Louisville. 21C Hotel to your right, Slugger Bat Museum to your left, and the Science Center and Frazier Museum straight across the street.
