Louisville Faux- Basement with style.

I actually did this grey colorwash a while ago but didn't take pictures. These walls are a perfect example of what faux can do to warm up a space when cool colors are used. It wipes out what could have looked cold and industrial, and gives the room a cozy feel.

Louisville Faux- Bye bye butterflies.

Here's a before, during, and after of a bedroom that went from baby room to teen room. Now this thirteen year old girl can enjoy a room more suitable for her age.

Louisville faux- Reduce, reuse, refurbish.

I truely appreciate when a decorative piece of furniture with bumps and bruises is given a chance to be brought back to life.

This cabinet was restored and repainted to its original state. 14K gold was added to the panels to bring out the beautiful scrollwork.

And it's amazing what a litle bit of shine can do.

Louisville faux- Baby boy nursery.

I have been a decorative painter in the residential and commercial arena for over 10 years. I have only once became friends with a client on such a fabulous degree that the client/professional relationship took a back seat. But of coarse when painting needs to be done, I am the first to snag the opportunity. I cannot wait to snuggle with the new baby boy and show him his new room!
