Louisville Faux-Fireplace.

This is a before and after of a fireplace surround made of granite. The granite was some what of an eye sore because of its dullness and install evidence. (the circular suction marks along the top of the stone) The fireplace had no visual movement, which is what the client wanted. Subtle marbling was applied with proper prep to the stone along with heat tolerant percautions. Now the space has a softer and more elegant look.

Louisville Faux-Lights and Mirrors.

Problem solving plays a considerable part in the role of a decorative painter. The mirrors and light fixtures in this gorgeous master bath had everything the client was looking for, but the finishes were much too silver. The issue was solved by creating a beautiful mix of golds to compliment other fixtures in the room. This series of pics shows how the room so full of detail flows elegantly and flawlessly. Oil based liquid and creme goldleaf was used for base and highlights.

Louisville Faux-Painted headboards/footboards.

Before and after sample pics of a pair of twin beds with handpainted headboards and footboards. The bedding is still being produced and I can't wait to take a picture of the nursery when finished. That way all can see why the center applique' and color choice plays such an important part in the design of the room.

Louisville Faux-Glazed cabinets.

White cabinets get a makeover with an antique glaze in Van Dyke brown. Catalyzed clear coat gives it the protection it needs for such a busy area such as this breezeway.
