Making the best out of what you have.

This painting was done in Miami, Florida for a private foyer in a condominium complex. Because of elevator and fire code regulations, the light and fire alarm were a must. To make the foyer appear "grand", the ceiling was treated with gold leaf and a beautiful black stencil was painted to surround what would have been a very boring light fixture. So as you stepped out of the elevator, you were presented with beauty and a sneak peak to the entire design of the condo.
